Blessing Day

Today was a special day for our little family. Ryan gave Sophie the sweetest blessing. He is such a good dad and I am so grateful for the priesthood that he holds. We are so thankful for my parents, aunt, uncle and cousin that are so supportive and were able to come be a part of our baby girl's big day. She wore the blessing dress that my mom made for me to be blessed in. She looked so cute and I loved that it had sentimental value. It made it that much sweeter. We just couldn't be more in love with our baby girl and are so happy to have this time of year to spend lots of time together and with our loved ones.

Last week at preschool they had a Thanksgiving feast. It was darling. They all made hats and vests and had a little lunch. Oh! And Will got a big boy haircut. I was done with the long hair. I was so stressed about it being short cause its been SO long since his hair has been really short. But I am loving it. He looks like a completely different person.

Sophie Rose

On October 12th we welcomed our baby girl Sophie. We still can't believe she is actually here and that we are now a family of 4. She was 8 lbs 6 oz. Exactly the same as Will. Crazy right? And they were both born at 40 weeks 3 days and 6:30-ish in the morning. The births were COMPLETELY different this time though. With will I was in labor for days and pushed for hours. With her, it was so fast. I BARELY made it to the hospital in time. We pulled up to the curb at 6 am. I don't even know what time I got up to labor and delivery. Maybe 6:15? She was born at 6:27. When we got there I was dying and the nurses were just annoyed I wasn't breathing though contractions better. We were all pretty shocked when my water broke and she started coming out before I was even checked into the hospital. It was pretty dramatic and crazy like the movies. Being RUSHED into a delivery room as she is coming out, I am screaming, and sweating. Ryan is in the corner trying not to pass out, I don't have time for an epidural.(obviously) I was just so excited to not have to be at the hospital for hours on end WAITING for her to get here. It was all kinda a blur and when I think about it I get major anxiety thinking we were SO close to having a baby on the 405. Thankfully it was before traffic or else we would have. Now, after having a baby naturally, completely on accident I would totally do it again. The whole experience and the recovery was so much better it's completely worth it. Poor baby was pretty swollen and bruised for a day or 2. I think just from coming out so fast. But we love her more than words can describe and are so grateful for the blessing of another baby. It is such a miracle.

A couple days after she was born I took her in because her belly button looked super red... Turns out this can be very serious and they don't take it lightly. We were instantly sent to the hospital for her to be admitted and put on an antibiotic IV. It was SSSOOO sad. I cried for like 2 days straight. I hated having my tiny 2 day old baby in the hospital. Ryan and I both stayed with her, and my parents had Will with them. Thankfully we were able to leave after a little over 2 days and everything was okay. I now have a new appreciation for the sick kids and families that have to spend time in the hospital. My heart breaks for them. We were lucky for it to just be an infection. Nothing more. So thanks to all of our family and friends who prayed for our baby girl. I have pictures from the hospital just all on my phone. I need to figure out how to get them off.

Fall

In September Will started preschool. I am not sure who loves it more.. me or him. ha ha He is learning so much and is seeming so grown up. I am always shocked at the things he randomly blurts out. I stop and think... oh, he must have learned that at school. Cause I sure didn't teach him that. He is writing his name, knows about the weather, months, seasons, days of the week, and just a couple days ago he drew a tic tac toe grid, asked me to play him and he totally beat me. I was dying. He is so busy and keeps us on our toes.

Cancun

We just got home from a super fun trip to Cancun with my family. It is always good to be back in America but we are already missing everyone. Will isn't sure what has happened he had a million people to play with all day and all night. Ryan golfed 3 of the days so he was in heaven and I did the pool and beach with a day at the spa (which was heaven for me!)

My aunt wasn't able to make it this time so me, Ryan and Will were able to have her entire condo to ourselves. It was SO nice. We were definitely spoiled. Every day Will had at least one bath on the deck so he could race his cars.

It rained a couple of the days we were there so we went and let Will pick a ceramic thing to paint. He picked the lizard and was so into it. He calls crafts craps. He would tell us he's painting craps.

Our last day there we took a bus to a catamaran this is the bus ride..

At the end of the day, the crew pulled down the sails and set up a parachute thing with a swing on it. It was so funny watching everyone do it. Obviously the pregnant or under 18 are not allowed to do it. Ryan was nervous cause he doesn't love heights and especially something he can't control or be strapped into. But he did it and had a blast.

And that was our trip in a nutshell... when we got home Will's car seat was basically broken in half. It was the craziest thing you had ever seen. The lady said it must have fallen off a truck and gotten run over. I wish I had a picture of it. So that was drama not fun to deal with after long flights and waking up at 3 in the morning. But we are happy to be home safe and sound and sad to have to face reality. Thanks again to my family for everything. We had a blast!!

Pool Time

We're spending serious time at the pool these days. Lucky for us we have so many fun pools we can rotate through our week. It's always a blast with all our toys, friends and picnics.

My cute friend Sharla came to town. She didn't stay with us but we saw her every day! Will is in love with her and keeps asking me if I remember his friend Sharla. ha ha

Memorial Day

We thought it would be a good idea to go to the beach with all our friends on memorial day.... So did everyone else in America. It was still super fun and always good company. I tried to get a picture looking down the beach so you could KINDA see how packed it was.

April & May

We are finally home from a million adventures for about 3 more weeks!! It feels so good to be home and to get regrouped. So here it goes......

We had family and friends in town and went to the San Diego Zoo....

I flew to Utah all by myself for a weekend to go to a shower for Mikelle and my cousin Madison.

Then Karley and Cam came down for a while. It was SO fun and I can't believe I only have this picture from ALL of our adventures. They drove back to Utah with us and we even stopped in St. George to play and have a slumber party.
When we got to Utah we went to my cousin's wedding. It was lovely....

After Utah for a while we drove back to California. This is Mikelle's napkin head that entertained Will.....

We split it into 2 days and the second day was Will's birthday. He had a million presents to open on the way home to keep him busy.

Once we got home lots of family came to town for Mikelle to go through the temple. We had such a fun weekend in San Diego with everyone.

Then a few days later we got on an airplane to go BACK to UTAH for Mikelle and Jud's wedding

We saw lots of friends and family. This is my cousin Ali's new baby. Will is absolutely OBSESSED with her...

When we got home I freaked out about the toys taking over our little house. So we went to Ikea and bought a major shelving and bin thing for all Will's toys. It has changed my life. Will LOVES helping Ryan build things. (and pretending to be mickey)

Since we have been home we went back to Disneyland and have been doing some major pool time. I'm SO grateful to love the place we call home. It would be so hard to leave family and friends if we didn't have the best place to come home to.

OH! And this week I had another ultrasound so after 2 ultrasounds and absolutely ZERO faith from my in laws we are STILL having a baby GIRL. We are so excited and can't believe how soon time is flying. She will be here before we even know it.

We are so excited to announce we will be having another baby at our house!! We are expecting baby at the beginning of October. We couldn't be more thrilled about our new addition and Will is so excited to be a big brother.

Holy cow this last month has been insane at our house!! We have had so many visitors and so much going on. So there are tons of pictures but I wish we had more. I have not been great at taking pictures. At the beginning of this month my good friend Shelly came to visit. It was so fun to have her. She came all by herself and left her 3 kids at home with her husband. So we just shopped, ate at yummy places, found seashells (its all her kids wanted for a souvenir :)) And of course Will is always in heaven running wild.

We do LOTS of puzzles. Will is OBSESSED and SO good at them. He can do most of them all by himself!

Uncle Kevin and aunt Stef came to visit us. Luckily it was at least 80 degrees all week so we just did the pool and beach every day.

We finally just broke down to trim his hair. It was OUT of control. SO long. And for as many haircuts as this kid has had you would think he would be fine with it. NO... he pretty much acts like he has nerve endings in his hair. He screams like you are cutting his fingers off. But it looks SO much better!!

Now we are potty training!! He is doing great and LOVES his big boy underwear.

Hopefully I can get my act together to take pictures. My aunt Jackie was here for a few days and we don't have pictures with her but of course we had a blast. We have lots of things coming up in the next couple months so I'm hoping to be a better blogger!!

Grandparents!!

Grandpa Rob and Grandma Karen came to town last weekend for a few days. It was so fun to have them at our house to show them around and just play. Will was in heaven because he loves them so much and of course he loves all of the extra attention. We went to Disneyland which was a beautiful day until it started down pouring. OH!! And we rode right behind Cameron from Modern Family on the Buzz ride. I was DYING and Ryan's parents haven't even seen the show so they had NO clue who he was. So I was freaking out with the people behind me. It was so weird though seeing him in a black jacket and jeans and not being super over the top. He didn't seem very friendly, otherwise I MIGHT have asked him for a picture. I don't know though I feel SO awkward doing that. Other than that, we celebrated Karen's 50th birthday. We went shopping and to dinner and Sunday we went to the Newport temple, and to Huntington to visit some family. It was such a blast and hopefully they will come back soon!!

Cabo & Utah

So this is pretty pathetic that Ryan and I went on a cruise and these are the only pictures I have to put on here. I thought I would just be overloaded with pictures to post. I don't know what I was thinking but we didn't even take any!! So sad but oh well... better luck next time.

Super last minute we decided to join our friends Jenna and Andrew on a cruise to Cabo. We got Will a ticket to fly home to Utah with my mom then after the cruise I flew to Utah to get him and spent a couple weeks there playing with friends and family. So this is even more depressing that all of that time I should have been taking pictures but I wasn't. I am vowing to get back on the picture wagon ASAP.

OH!! And of course these are of us just being stupid in our room before the dressy dinner night. Dinner wasn't until 8 and pretty sure we eat at like 5 at our house. So we found ourselves killing way too much time before dinner.

I can NOT believe it's already 2011. The thought that I was married in 2004, and Will was born in 2008 (which seems like yesterday). Now its 2011. Time is going way too fast. Here is what we have been up to the last few days...

Will is quite the artist. He loves painting and asks to do it like 10 times a day.

He got super sick for a few days. I took him to the doctor and since he was so congested in his lungs he got an inhaler. He didn't love it at first so it was a nightmare trying to force it on him. Then we convinced him it was cool so then he wanted to do it himself.

Waiting for our friends to pick us up to go to Disneyland. Happy day!

I hope everyone had a happy and safe Christmas and New Years! We have got lots of big things planned for this year so I know it's going to be a great one. Here is to a happy, healthy, successful 2011!!

Christmas Extravaganza

This year was just one party after the other. First, Santa came to our house in California the morning we left for Utah. He was so good to us and we had such a fun time doing our own little Christmas as a family.

First thing Ryan wanted to do when we got to Utah was go hunting!! So that's what he did...

One night we had a crazy party at Grandma Ann's house. It is always SOOO much fun!!

We had such a fun Thanksgiving this year but the best part was that my little sister Mikelle got engaged! We are so excited and can't even believe it. Jud is absolutely perfect for her. He has every quality she ever wanted in someone and adds so much to our family. It is so much fun to have him around. Besides that, we played at the beach, the park, shopped, ate, played games, made gingerbread houses, and just layed around. It was such a fun week. We always love it when my family comes to town!!

Two of our favorite people came to visit this last week... Karley and Camryn. They stayed for 10 days and I am pretty sure we didn't even sit down for 5 minutes. We did Disneyland 3 times, the beach, pool, parks, shopping.. basically just played hard. It was SO much fun and Will and Cam are in love. They play so well for a couple of spoiled, only child, two year olds. ha ha Thanks for coming friends!! Come again soon!!

We have loved watching the season/holiday changes at Disneyland. Right now everything is done for Christmas and it is honestly to DIE for. If we don't live in California forever this is the time of year I will always bring my kids. It's a small world is a completely different ride and they sing Christmas songs, there is a darling parade, all the decorations are insane and every night the lights all turn off and it SNOWS! Yes, we get to enjoy the snow for 30 seconds. I have no clue how they do it but its so great. And the castle is decorated, looks snowed on and glows different colors throughout the day. They seriously go all out. So anyone thinking about coming down DO IT!! This is the time of year for sure!!

Bee Sting

Will got his first bee sting today!! Poor baby!! I felt so bad. We were at the pool and he got it on the top of his foot. I didn't get any pictures because it was pretty dramatic. You know... getting the stinger out, giving him benadryl, putting ice on it, he's screaming... he has recovered though. Had a LONG nap. aaahhhhh....

You got it! We were at Disneyland again yesterday. We only went for a couple hours last night after it started cooling off. We are having a heat wave right now that's painfully hot. Like yesterday was 97 degrees. We really wanted to get there though because my brother Cade and his friend Nick flew in for the day with Nick's parents. They were going to lunch at club 33. Those that don't know what it is... It's a legit secret club in Disneyland that's a by invitation only thing. Super cool!! So we HAD to get over there to say hi to uncle Cade for a bit.

We stopped for drinks on the way so we could hydrate before we got there. Will chose this icee that was as big as him!

Brayden and Will LOVE maps. They were talking about how we were going to go over the bridge to the Toy Story 3 ride. ha ha ha

This is out of order... But this is Will at the end of the night... exhausted. And probably dying of heat. It was so much hotter even later than I thought it would be.

Halloween

Will told me he wanted to be Handy Manny for Halloween months ago. So I started looking for costumes and they were all so ugly. So i thought we could buy the tools, hat, gloves and just wear regular clothes.... BAD idea. I don't know why I didn't think of that as a good idea. But half the time he refused to have his hat or gloves of and didn't want to carry the tools so he just walked around in jeans and a t-shirt... lovely. We went to our ward trunk-or-treat. It was so cute and everyone went all out. Of course Will would have nothing to do with taking his picture on the red carpet. So we don't have any cute pictures at all. Oh well, what do you do? Next year I know we are going to do better on the costume thing and not let the costume be all accessories.

On actual Halloween we went to my cousins house for dinner and took the boys trick or treating to a few giant houses. We wanted to go to the pretty houses that are always all gated so you cant see in. So we all enjoyed ourselves. I don't have any pictures from that. And yes, my child was in jeans and a t-shirt. I should have just made him wear his glow in the dark skeleton pajamas. Then he would have looked dressed up.

More Disneyland.....

Sorry all our pictures are practically the same. I know its Lame.. but we do the same things like every day. Disneyland, Beach, Pool, Shopping. My cousin Kelsey is in town for a while so we have had a blast playing with she and her kids. We refused to ride the teacups but luckily Jocelyn was happy to take Will and Brayden. They were dying to go.

Everything is decorated so cute this time of year. And the haunted mansion is insane because the whole inside is different too. It is practically a completely different ride.

This is the first time we have stopped and got a good spot for the Pixar parade. It was a hit. I think Will was in heaven.

Hunting Trip!!

Last week we went to Utah for a few days for Ryan to get his hunt on. It was so much fun going home to our families but we definitely weren't there long enough. I was so sad to leave but so happy to come back to nice weather. I honestly don't know what I would do if I had to live somewhere I didn't absolutely love. It would be really hard. We just played non-stop and I didn't get near as many pictures as I wanted. But here are some....

Will and Cam absolutely LOVE each other and play so well. They would just be up in Cam's room destroying it but loving every minute. This is them laying down to have a little snack and watch a movie. Thanks to Karley and Cam for playing all day every day in Logan. They always make it so fun.

Thanks to everyone who made our trip so much fun. I wish we could have stayed longer. There were so many people I wanted to see... When I told Ryan we should stay for another week he told me we should just move back.... Not exactly the answer I wanted. Ha ha all I wanted to do was to stay a couple more days BUT we are glad to be home. It was 75 degrees today and getting warmer... it makes me so happy!

A couple weeks ago my family came down for UEA. It was SO much fun to play with them. We spent a lot of time at the beach even though it was cold. Everyone was determined to be there so we were.. and my child insisted on getting wet. So he froze... But still had a great time with Auntie Kelle in the water. This is Will and his cute California girlfriend. Her name is Presley.

More Visitors

Our awesome friends Andrew, Jenna and Quinn came to visit this week. It was such a fun/busy few days. We did it all... the beach, Disneyland, shopping, golfing, eating, the park... you name it we did it. I didn't take many pictures. Jenna did though. So I will post more when she sends me some!

Ryan had a birthday this week!! It was fun. We got him at work to go to lunch THEN.... I had a babysitter set up and dinner reservations for us to go to this super yummy place in Newport Coast. I was SO excited but right as I ran upstairs to change my clothes, Will went downstairs, opened ALL of Ryan's presents, threw them everywhere and then threw up all over everything. I came downstairs and freaked. Of course I cancelled the reservations and babysitter first thing then proceeded to clean up. I was so mad because he was fine. I don't know what happened but he managed to puke everywhere then was running around playing with Quinn.. Poor Ryan didn't have anything to open and everything was a mess on the kitchen table when he got home. We just ended up going to dinner and taking the kids. Not exactly what I had in mind but it was still fun and we loved having the Rammell's here to help celebrate.

We partied all weekend and LOVED having Ryan home with us. We went to the pool, the beach, the Mormon Battalion visitors center, rode the train into downtown San Diego, and to the Padres game. It was an action packed weekend and I only have half the pictures to show. The other ones are on my camera that is dead. We were so happy to have my dad in town to play with. Love you Dad! Thanks for entertaining us all weekend! We had a blast.

We have friends! It has been so fun because all the girls in the ward get together all the time to visit and let the kids play. It's nice it is just always an open invite to whoever wants to go. Like every Tuesday is beach day. There is a specific beach anyone and everyone meets at to play. So we did that and today was water park Wednesday. So every Wednesday everyone goes to the little water park right by our house.

The funniest thing about this picture is that it was taken before all the kids got there! Will is in HEAVEN with all his new little friends.

Little Man

I can't believe we have been living in California for a month and a half already. It is so crazy. I just wanted to say how much I love this kid and how I don't know if we could have made the move without him. He is such a good boy and he is so much fun to take everywhere. Without him, I wouldn't have an awesome friend to play with every day. I love you Will!! I am starting to feel bad for him like he needs a sibling to play with. Not quite ready for that though!

Quick Trip

We went home to Utah for a few days last week for a family reunion and a wedding. I was HORRIBLE at taking pictures and the ones I did take are HORRIBLE. SO... there you have it. Sorry. I didn't have enough room or hands to take my nice camera. Ryan's brother Kevin got married... The pictures are bad cause there are weird shadows in every ones faces.

The Radio Flyer

Tonight for family night we went and got Will a bike, put it together and went for a ride. It was super fun but I felt bad he wasn't able to ride it very long. It gets dark here by 8:30. I promised he could ride it to the pool tomorrow. We got the kind we can push and steer which saves us cause he gets the pedaling thing but not well enough to get to the pool and back.

this is our awesome path that goes for a mile or 2 by our house. It looks like its out of a movie and there are parks and pools along it. Just the perfect place for a little bike rider.

Utah County to Orange County

We made it!! We have been here for almost 2 weeks now. Just trying to get settled. We love where we live, we love our ward. Everyone is SO nice. Ryan loves his commute. Everything is good! Lots of parks, pools, beaches, malls, restraunts... We have done it all I just have not been very good at taking pictures. I got a couple at Disneyland and just snapped a couple of our place so people at home can see where we live.....
Oh will LOVED Disney. So it was a fun day. We went with my cousin Kelsey, her kids, Aunt Ranae, Garrett, my Mom and Mikelle. PARTY!

Will is a big boy now!! He has done SO well transitioning to a bed. It has been fun because he thinks he is pretty cool. I didn't feel like hauling the crib out here when he would be climbing out soon and then we wouldn't have a place to store it.

Well that is our life right now. I am going to be better about taking pictures and updating now that we live away from everyone.

Cache Valley Weekend

This weekend we went to Logan to spend time with Ryan's family. It was SO much fun as usual... We went swimming, up the canyon on 4 wheelers to roast marshmallows, to Lewiston to grandma and grandpa Jessop's farm, played lots of games and had a food fest... as usual. I didn't take many pictures because my camera was dead the first half of the weekend.

The mountain man in Ryan instantly comes out and he climbs the mountain, breaks down dead trees and hauls them over for fire wood so we can have an awesome fire. I was dying when he would walk around hauling trees bigger than him.

Will wasn't thrilled about the 4 wheeler ride at first but once we got going he didn't want to get off.

Cancun

We just got back from Cancun tonight. I wanted to hurry and post because I figured if I don't do it now I won't do it.. So here are some pictures from our trip. I'm sad because the pictures off our little camera we took on our outings is not working so here are just some from hanging around the pool.

Will turned 2 last week! We had such a fun day playing with him. He had a little birthday party in the day with his little friends and at night with our families. He is such a sweet boy and we are so happy we have him in our lives.

I filled his room with balloons in the middle of the night so when he woke up he was freaking out!

We got a bounce house.. Cause what else do you do with a bunch of 2 year olds?? It looked SO funny in the middle of our grass!

I waited so long to take away bottles because Will refuses to drink milk out of anything else. He has been off of them for maybe a month now and has not had any milk besides whats in his cereal. Any tricks on getting kids to drink milk?? Oh, he wont even drink chocolate milk either.

Today we went up Provo canyon on a little run/mostly walk adventure. We had so much fun with our neighbors the Rammell's. We came home with some bumps and bruises but had a blast. Thank heavens for spring!! OH... and we went 6.5 miles. We were pretty proud.

Nothing very eventful has been happening in our world. That's why we have been slacking at the blog. Today we took Ryan's youngest brother to the MTC. He is going to Costa Rica on his mission and we are so excited for him. We are super sad to see him leave but there is not a better thing for him to be doing at this point in his life than to serve a mission. It is so crazy to think of all the things that will happen in the 2 years that he is gone. Will is going to almost be 4 and he MIGHT have a sibling! ha ha now that is WEIRD to think about.

This week Will and I flew down to San Diego to see my mom. We had such a great time!! Will was so happy just about the whole time . It was so nice to play outside all day and to enjoy the warm fresh air.

We went to Lego land.. Will LOVED it.Will made friends with an Asian family in line for a ride. They all loved him. It was so funny.

The flight home was AMAZING. First of all we got the only extra seat on the flight, AND Will fell asleep before we even took off. So I layed him next to me and sipped diet coke the whole flight. It made up for the flight there!

Our Christmas

I have been avoiding updating Christmas pictures because we have SO many. This is just a few of what we have. On the Sunday before Christmas we did our own little family Christmas. Santa came to our house......

Then we spent Christmas eve and Christmas morning with my family....

Christmas night we went to Ryan's grandparents house Then we stayed at his parents that night and opened presents with them....

While we were there we hung out and also had family pictures taken... One morning we went to the temple and it was -6 degrees outside!! NEGATIVE. I didn't have my Uggs with me so I went and bought a new pair. ASAP. I needed new ones anyway. I was instantly warm the rest of the weekend.

Sunday night after Christmas Ryan's whole extended family all stayed in a hotel downtown. We went and looked at Christmas lights and then went back to the hotel to make blankets to deliver to primary children's hospital Monday morning. It was such a blast!!

We also had a fun New Years and celebrated our 5Th wedding anniversary. But that was our holiday season in a nutshell. Excuse that I am in my pajamas in almost every picture. Its because they were new, super thick and SO FUZZY and SO WARM. It was the only way to stay warm in Cache Valley. Ha ha

This last weekend we were up in Logan so Ryan could hunt. We did all kinds of fun things. One of which being a slumber party with our friends Clint, Karley and Camryn. On Saturday night we went to their house for dinner and didn't get done until late and it was so snowy and icy we decided to make it an all nighter.

Will has gotten SO big the last couple of weeks. He is seriously my little buddy. We play all day and have such a great time. He has started talking a lot more. Not always words but he has been super vocal. It is so fun to hear his little voice and pretend we are having full on important conversations with each other. On Sunday we went to our friend Ava's first birthday party. She was eating her cake in her high chair when a huge chunk fell onto the grass... Leave it to Will to help himself to the mutilated cake. ha ha ha Today we played in the garage while we were waiting for some friends to pick us up. I decided to take some pictures cause I was dying how he is all over and into everything.

He fell asleep in the car and so I thought I will just try to transfer him to his little stroller to see if he will stay asleep. Don't ask why I thought it would work this time because it has never worked his whole life. Sure enough.... He slept for 45 minutes while I shopped at the rack.

Today we went golfing. By the way I am dressed you can tell I went thinking... I'll just take care of Will so Ryan can golf and I will maybe hit a few balls. Well, turns out I hit more than a few and I was so good!! I kind of shocked everyone. I would set up my ball and just take a whack at it. Didn't really practice or line up my feet or anything... just went for it. Ryan was like GEEZ, you are a LOT better than I thought you would be! Will also LOVED it!! He was such a good boy. My friend Heather and I decided we wanted to start making headbands to sell. So we started collecting fabulous vintage fabrics, sewing, and making headbands. We have been working on them piece by piece and finally got some assembled. Here is just a sample of what has been consuming my time!! Let me know if you want one!

We went boating with our good friends Karley and Camryn. The most exciting thing of all!! Grandma Ann came home from her mission in Spain. My aunts had t-shirts made that we all wore to the airport. We looked so funny because her plane got in at 11 pm. So here we are in orange shirts, with banners and everything in the middle of the night! It was so exciting because Grandma hadn't met Will yet. The main purpose of this blog was for her to see Will growing up.

Will was PAINFULLY exhausted! It took the whole weekend to recover. Me and Grandma After the homecoming on Sunday, Will was so tired he fell asleep on Ryan's shoulder. That NEVER happens.Our favorite pool is the Lindon pool. There is a lazy river that the kids just float in and we walk behind. Its super fun and you don't have to worry about them drowning.

We just got home yesterday from a long trip to Carlsbad. We had so much fun playing with my family. We played at the beach, rode bikes, shopped, went to Sea World at night (because we have season passes we went to the night shows. They are awesome!) We also went to the San Diego Zoo, the guys went to a Padres game, and we did a lot of relaxing.

Will is a beach bum! He absolutely loves being at the beach...which is perfect because its one of our favorite things too. He is really into anything that moves. He loves cars, bikes, strollers, airplanes...Pretty much anything with wheels. For those of you that know my dad, know that he loves cars too so whenever he would be reading a car magazine, Will would want to be on his lap reading it with him. It was so cute. And now when he sees an airplane in the sky he points and makes the noises. He is so smart and is getting so big. Thanks family for an awesome trip!

I taught Will how to feed himself cereal with a spoon. It is still really messy but super cute. He LOVES it.

Today after church we were eating and Will started choking on a chip and then gagged till he threw up EVERYWHERE. He threw up everything he had eaten all day. It was SO gross. So we strip him and go to just put him in the sink cause he is covered in puke. But when I went to take his diaper off while Ryan was holding him up, it was full of poop! It was so gross. So I tried to wipe his bum while Ryan was holding him in the air. We were both dry heaving and Will is giggling! He thought it was the funniest thing he ever did. We had one mess after the other that took a while to clean up. But we are glad he is okay!

The Fray

Last night we went to the Fray concert. We sat on blankets and had the best spot. All of the sudden people around us started dancing and then before you know it hundreds of kids are RUNNING to come dance practically on our blanket. If you were there you totally know what I am talking about. It was insane. We started getting stepped on and so I seriously layed into the people around us like you've never seen. It was hilarious. Ryan was scared. I FREAKED out. Screaming at the top of my lungs for people to back up. We couldn't even get our blanket and our stuff together to move. Finally we got everything and ran to the opposite side of the grass where no one was. OH the funniest part was that there were kids crowd surfing and Ryan grabbed a kid and threw him in the ground. ha. He was way bigger than all the skinny little punk kids so they didn't mess with him. So the concert ended up being great. We really loved it.

This weekend we went to Logan. On Sunday we went up to Ryan's grandma and grandpa's house in Lewiston. It is beautiful up there. It is in the middle of no where just about on the Idaho border. We went to the Kelly Clarkson concert tonight. It was SO fun! We were a little sketch about going cause it's been pouring rain ALL day long. But we went and took coats and umbrellas and everything so we were prepared. When we got there it was just cloudy, then the clouds cleared out and it started raining. It was the weirdest thing!! But it turned out to be a beautiful night. (Still FREEZING) She really does have an unbelievable voice. I had so much fun singing at the top of my lungs the whole time...... so did Ryan! ha ha. He is totally a closet fan. I put her new cd in his car a couple of weeks ago so he could learn the songs and you better believe he sang along with me. He was a good sport!
All I know is that I am SO ready for it to be summer again. I don't know what is with the cold and rain. I am more than ready to be back out at the pool.

We just got home from a fabulous little trip down to San Diego, well Carlsbad to be exact. My parents just bought a beach house there so we went down to get it furnished and decorated. We were down there for 10 days. Ryan and my brother flew down for the weekend so that was super fun to play with them. We went to Sea World, the beach, and did TONS of shopping. Mostly for everything you need in a new house.... the lists are endless. We also celebrated my baby's first birthday. He is growing up so fast. He is so fun and I love him so much. I will admit..... He is COMPLETELY out of control. But I think every little boy is. Anyways, right now I'm doing laundry 100 mph because first thing Friday morning, I am leaving again for another little adventure. When I get back I will post all the pictures... we have tons!

But then I realized its the cup he loves. So I got him his own cup just like mine but I put apple juice in it. He is so happy about it. I love that the cup is like twice the size of his head.

I went to the Britney Spears concert last night. It was seriously unbelievable. I LOVED every minute of it. I just loved all the dancing, random performers and music... everything. I ran into Kylee there which was fun. I had a blast. Thanks Suz for the invite! Every time I go to a concert or a show I leave wanting to be a singer or performer or backup dancer.

Easter

We had a great Easter this year. Will is at such a fun age. It definitely makes holidays more fun having him around. We love him so much.... So here are pictures from Easter and from an Easter egg hunt we did with our friends in our neighborhood for the kids. You can see from the pictures but Will HATES grass. He won't crawl in it and hates his hands touching it. So we had to pick him up and carry him from egg to egg so he could gather them. It was pretty funny.

Well, Will knows how to walk now! It is so cute. It isn't the way he chooses to get around yet. He usually just walks when we bribe him with chocolate, or some kind of treat he loves. New Things

There is not a whole lot that is new with us right now. Will is constantly getting bigger and learning new things every day. He is getting his first teeth. Two are coming in at the bottom. It's so cute. I have decided he is pretty much a little boy now. Not a baby!! He is getting super naughty already and isn't even 1 yet!! I have been terrible at taking pictures the last little while. I will be better the next couple days so that I can post some. He is at such a fun age.. he is my little buddy and we play all day! I love him so much!

The new exciting thing for us right now is that we are going to Mexico next week. We can't wait. Especially after this last snow storm, I have been SO excited to just lay on the beach for a few days. aahhh... We are just going for a long weekend, and my fabulous mom is babysitting Will. We are going to miss him SO much but it is going to be really nice to just lay around and do nothing and not have to worry about him jumping in the pool or something!

I can't believe its almost the middle of January already! Will is growing up so fast!! Here are some recent pictures we've taken. It's official! Will has practically opened all his Christmas presents. Simply because he has needed to use everything that was wrapped and under the tree! Or as things were shipped to our house, we have been opening and using it all. Here is Will opening presents and this first picture is for my Grandma... Well, my christmas tree is up, and so are most of the decorations. But the tree is so ugly.... I put stuff on it that I bought 2 years ago and it needs some major help. So once I get it all fixed, I will post pictures. BUT.... My sister came over for a minute tonight and laughed at how many presents are under our tree so far. She's all "It's not even December yet! ha ha ha!" But she just doesn't get it. I told her, when you are a stay at home mom, you will be into Christmas shopping too! First off, I can NOT believe its December tomorrow. This year has flown by. Will is coming up on 7 months this week. CRAZY! Well, we spent Thanksgiving in St. George with my family. We had a great time, and it was so nice to get away! Thanks family! Here are pictures from our trip, and a couple other random ones.

For Halloween we were at my parent's house. We were babysitting my brother while my parents were in Hawaii. So we hung out there and passed out candy.

Me and Karley dressed up at the last minute. I know 80's are kinda lame and overdone. But its fun and the easiest thing to throw together at the last minute.

Sitting Up!

Will is officially sitting up on his own. He's not super stable but he can sit on his own long enough for me to find the camera, Ryan to find the video camera, and for us to take a bunch of pictures, video and visit with him.... I think that's a success! Sorry to ruin the costume surprise before Halloween! His costume is also jammies! Ryan wanted him to wear them tonight. We were dying how cute he looked!

Ryan's brother Mitch got his Eagle this weekend. So we went to Logan for his shin dig........ and, so Ryan could sit in the eagle nest with all the other eagles. ha ha! I don't get it! But whatever. Congrats Mitch! We love you and are so proud!!

Sorry it has been so long. Life just gets crazy and I get in and out of the blogging mood. Here is what has been happening lately....
We celebrated Ryan's 26Th birthday yesterday! It was so much fun to hang out with our families and have a party for him. He is an amazing husband and dad. I'm so grateful for him and everything he does and sacrifices for me and Will. I think ill just explain the pictures as i go through them cause somehow they are all out of order...

My mom and I took Will to the Zoo last week. He LOVED it. His favorite Animal was the giraffe so my mom bought him a little giraffe at the gift shop. His name is Justin Bobby. Will cant get enough of him. Its hilarious...

I got a new car! Just a little SUV its the perfect size for me right now. I love it... Moving on to the mom-mobiles. Its crazy. I had a 2 door car and it was the BIGGEST pain.

We love the bumbo chair! If you have a baby and don't have one of these, or are having one and don't have one, GET ONE! Will helps me make dinner, and as you can see, he sits up at the table with us.

Tonight when Ryan got home from work we went swimming. Its the first time we've gotten Will in the pool cause he has some allergy issues with sunscreen so we usually keep him in the shade. This time we went late enough that we didn't have to use sunscreen. He loved it!!

That is NOT a hickey on Ryan's neck..... its a birthmark.

We got Will ready for church this morning and just looked at each other and thought.... Oh my heck! He looks like a little boy! He's not a baby anymore. So after church we just took a few pictures of our little man.

First Haircut

Okay, so Will's hair got pretty crazy all of the sudden. It started falling out in the back and not on the top, sides, or bottom. So we trimmed it up and just thinned it out a little on the sides so its not like thick dark stripes on the sides of his head. You can't really tell the difference in the pictures but it does look a little better! He LOVED sitting in his chair in front of the mirror. He kept smiling at himself!
